The pictures below came from the book "The Baltimore Book", which was published by the city itself in 1912. In reading through the text and looking at the pictures it is apparent that the book served to promote the city and attract prospective industries and people to our area. The book was badly damaged, but most of the pictures inside were intact and did a good job at showing how the city looked back then.
